Plot
Ginnie (Charlene Choi) is an uptown girl afflicted with cancer. As her health deteriorates, she decides to make final arrangements and in the process, befriends a budding young funeral director, Duen (Eason Chan) . Soon, Ginnie asks Duen to escort her to New York where she has chosen as her final resting place. After some heartfelt pleas and a $200,000 incentive, Duen reluctantly agrees.Against a peaceful backdrop of rural New York, Duen shows Ginnie fresh hope and support. Little by little, their friendship blossoms into romance and Ginnie with strength renewed, journeys back to Hong Kong to fight her disease.
After a lengthy treatment followed by a full recovery, Ginnie eagerly expects her love awaiting but instead, finds him strangely withdrawn and disassociated. What she uncovers next is a dark secret that affects the very core of their relationship.
